Microfiber Scrub Pad - 9 cm x 13 cm - Yellow

A microfiber scrub pad is a small cleaning pad with an active surface of microfiber, a blend of polyester and polyamide with extra scrubbing texture. The dimension 13 cm × 9 cm makes it compact enough to work in tight spaces (corners, between parts, detailed surfaces) yet large enough for efficient hand scrubbing.

A quality microfiber scrubbing pad often uses a blend of around 80% polyester and 20% polyamide. Polyester gives strength, scrubbing ability and durability, while the polyamide adds softness and high absorbency.  The fibers are usually split fibers, meaning each filament is divided into many microscopic sub-filaments — this creates a fine loop or pile structure that significantly increases surface area and helps trap dirt, moisture, oils and fine particles. 

Microfiber scrubbing pads are extremely versatile. They’re ideal for cleaning in the kitchen, they work well on tiles, along sink edges, around faucets, and stove knobs, and in the bathroom, they clean around taps, grout lines, and fixtures with good efficacy.

To keep a microfiber pad working well over time, here are care instructions:

Washing: Machine wash in mild or cold/warm water. Avoid hot water above the manufacturer’s recommended temperature. 

Detergent: Use liquid detergent without fabric softener, bleach, or whitening agents. Fabric softeners coat the fibers and reduce absorbency. 

Drying: Air dry for better life span.

Rinsing After Use: After each use, rinse to remove large particles or residues, squeeze out water; this helps prevent buildup.

Storage: Store dry; avoid leaving a damp pad in a closed space to reduce mildew/odor.

Replacement: Over time, if the pad no longer picks up dirt well or if fibers are significantly frayed, replacement is a good option.
